Juice deaerator vs thermal processing skid

Compare air-removal and heating duties to understand when each juice-processing machine is required.

Air removal and heating are separate duties

A vacuum deaerator removes air where the product and downstream process justify it. A thermal processing skid handles defined heating, holding and cooling duties. Neither is a replacement for the other; an equipment name does not establish the finished-product preservation process.

Specify the deaeration boundary

Provide inlet temperature, viscosity, product flow and available vacuum service. Define how the gas condition will be measured and what the following machine requires. Quoted vessel vacuum alone does not prove the product gas condition.

Specify the thermal boundary

Provide inlet and outlet conditions, particle characteristics, required flow, heat services and the proposed product-and-pack process. The responsible process specialists must establish the actual treatment programme and its validation for the product.

Review the connection

Where both operations are needed, agree the location, transfer pressure, controls, buffering and cleanability with the rest of the process. A generic equipment checklist is not a universal piping sequence.
