Add a missing stage to an existing juice line
Define what arrives, what must leave and what the retained equipment can actually accept.
Describe both sides of the gap
Provide the preceding equipment’s outlet state and the following equipment’s inlet limits: flow, temperature, pressure, particle size, viscosity and hygienic condition. Include start/stop behaviour, not only the steady operating point.
Inventory is not approval
Record equipment identity, drawings, operating history and actual condition. A checkbox in the selector means you already own a stage; its output still requires compatibility review for the chosen fruit and juice state.
Find the sustained bottleneck
Raw-fruit tonnes per hour, extracted litres per hour and accepted packages per minute are different bases. Compare a measured material balance and operating schedule. Buffering may absorb a short interruption but cannot solve a permanent capacity mismatch.
Define controls and responsibility
Map levels, permissives, alarms, off-condition routing and who owns the control changes. Confirm utilities, floor/drain constraints, cleaning returns and commissioning responsibilities in the scope of the additional module.
