MATCH THE MACHINE TO THE JOB
Feed: Whole fruit with known field condition and handling history.
Output: Washed and sorted fruit; wash-water and rejects kept separate.
View equipment details →Start with fruit size, incoming condition and the damage you can accept. Ask how the proposed rollers, brushes or conveyor move the fruit through the washing area. Check whether the actual feed is whole fruit and which preparation operation follows; surface washing does not define the peel or seed boundary.
Describe the available water quality, drainage and intended operating schedule. Ask which water circulation, spray and collection arrangement is included. Compare removal of unwanted material with handling damage on representative fruit, rather than selecting a washer from conveyor throughput alone.
Review the spray manifold, brush or belt surfaces and collection zones. Ask how operators isolate the machine and access deposits between fruit campaigns. Distinguish the procedure for washing the fruit from the procedure for cleaning and releasing the equipment.
Inspect belts, brushes, spray areas and collection zones after safe isolation. Cleaning the fruit and cleaning the machine are distinct duties.
Washing does not substitute for fruit-specific peeling, seed separation or preservation.
Describe your incoming material and the required output above. Provide the known duty and units, operating schedule and the upstream and downstream equipment. If a value is undecided, tell us which part you need help specifying.
