Make re-used and new equipment part of a defined hygienic release.
Cleaning system
Separate washer, extractor, separator, tanks, thermal equipment and filler. Identify what can be cleaned in place and what requires dismantling. A single supply connection does not prove coverage of every surface.
Record construction materials, seals, filter or membrane limitations, soil load and safe operating conditions. Develop cleaning and verification with the actual equipment rather than applying a universal chemical recipe.
Cleaning duration, fruit campaign changes and inspection access affect usable output. Include them in acceptance and staffing assumptions when comparing equipment combinations.
Provide safe isolation, chemical segregation, drainage and maintained instruments for the cleaning equipment itself.
An existing CIP skid is inventory pending fit review, not proof that a new module is cleanable.
Request actual model photographs, drawings, construction and contact materials, rated duty with test conditions, utilities and supply/manufacturing responsibility in the proposal.
