When to include it

Air entrainment, foaming, oxidation sensitivity or a filling/thermal interface can justify review. A dedicated deaerator is not automatically required in every line, especially when an existing process already meets the gas specification.

Quality trade-off

Evaluate temperature, pressure, residence and aroma effects for the actual product. Removing air is not the same as sterilising the juice or proving a shelf-life claim.

Connections

Define pump inlet conditions, closed transfer, vacuum/condensate services and where air could be reintroduced downstream. Measure the result at the relevant process boundary.
